Product & Service Design
Eelinkubatsioon
Customer satisfaction starts with product and service design. It may even dictate whether your business is going to be successful or not!

Our next workshop is all about product and service design! We're going to discuss the benefits of design thinking and learn how to create a minimum viable product.

The workshop is led by Markko Karu who is the Chief Design Officer at Funderbeam.
In the past 20 years, I have consulted over 150 organizations with branding, packaging and communication issues, founded a few creative companies and acted as a spokesperson for the Estonian design industry. Today I share my time between designing digital services, lecturing and being a co-founder of a few startup companies. My goal is to create new products and services that are aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and solve real-life problems.

I spend my time:
30% doing workshops & consulting
30% creating brands & experiences
40% developing interactions and interfaces

  • 90% of businesses growing rapidly say the design is significant to them; only 26% of static companies say the same.
  • Design reduces costs by making processes more efficient. It can also reduce the time to market for new products and services.
  • Almost 70% of companies seeing design as integral have developed new products and services in the last three years, compared to only a third of businesses overall.

The workshop is free of charge and in English but please make sure to register on IdeaLab web page!
